  • Local Windows client recognizes the telephony status of the user
  • Triggered via defined events (e.g. ringing, connected, hang-up)
  • Depending on the event, a local action is executed, e.g. .bat script, URL, application
  • Versatile with flexible logic
  • Global hotkeys for various actions:
      • Open Teams tab: Brings the Contacts by XPhone application to the foreground together with the Teams client and automatically sets the focus on the search bar. The user can start typing immediately.
      • Search in Teams Tab: Corresponds to the Open Teams Tab action, but also copies the content of the clipboard to the search bar. This enables, for example, a direct search for phone numbers found in web or third-party applications.

Requirements & technical details

Variant 1: with SBC

  • Prerequisite for events: "Connected" and "Hang-Up"
  • SBC = Session Border Controller of the company (anynode, AudioCodes)

Variant 2: without SBC

  • Local mode recognizes "ringing" status directly
  • Also works with Operator Connect (connection of telephony providers to Microsoft Teams)
  • Important: AppLink and Teams must be running on the same computer
